    Who here owns a Territory?

    Hey Guys,

As some of you know I have had a few Territory's now and my old man has had 4!!

    Who else here has one?

I have an SZ Titanium RWD Diesel

    Problems to date:

    1) ICC flickers in reverse (sounds like I will need a new ICC to fix as they have played with it).
    2) Gearbox slips when first engaging a gear, eg. reverse sometimes after being parked or going from Reverse to Drive causes the issue.
    3) LED rear break light has cracks around where it is screwed into the body work (looks like the factory worker overtightened it and heat has caused it to die).
    4) Aircon cuts in an out while sitting stationary at lights. Don't know if this is normal or not.

Overall its a great car for what we paid for it. Economy is brilliant compared to my old 4 speed SX Ghia.

    Cheers,

    Brent

I've got an '06 Ghia Turbo that I just love and I can't see us selling for a very long time. I love all the new gear in the latest Territory but would just miss that turbo six too much. It's been a great car for us so far and by far the most practical easy to drive, worry free car I've ever owned.

Problems have been very few but they are, flickering LED tail light that would also turn the cruise control off (fixed under warranty), sat nav randomly ejects the cd and the front diff bushes have now been replaced (that's just wear and tear though). That's it for 135,000 km's of daily driving duties.

Mods are almost none, had it lowered with shorter shocks and springs, 20" x 9.5" FPV Silver Argent wheels with 275 rubber all round and 6 x 4 Brembo's.

That's it. Couldn't recommend these cars highly enough! Only downside would be fuel economy or lack thereof! ha ha ha!! But who cares, it's enjoyable to drive as well as being practical so just don't look at the fuel gauge.

We HAD a Territory. 2007 SY (?) AWD Ghia in seduce. A ripper car. It left us after 2 1/2 years and 70,000 km. I dont remember it having any money spent other than serving and tyres.

I really wanted to replace it with a SYII Turbo Ghia TT, but the cook wanted a smaller car so we got the C250. But she only liked them in Red and didn
't want a new car that looked exactly like her old car. With hindsight we both agree the TT would have been better. Ce La Vie

    In the outback...

The problem with society today, is that nobody drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

Hopefully I will be joining the Territory club soon and I think I have convinced the Mrs to splash out for the TTG.

SZ Titanium RWD Diesel for the family runabout. Just clocked 10K kms, no problems at all.
