Well after having aftermarket rims on my ute ever since I bought it, over 2 years ago, I was growing sick of the look of them. When the chance arose to put some genuine BA GTP rims on I jumped at it. They look fantastic I think, a lot classier that the old Speedy Infernos. I doubt I will ever buy aftermarket rims again.
Here is a before and after

Looking good but I think when you refer to classy it is due to the silver look opposed to black.

Na its referred to the fact that the ute doesn't have that aftermarket tacky rim look any more. Which was my fault in the first place.

I was only joshing but the site doesn't have enough choice of the smiley things or lets say a sarcastic icon choice for I hate chrome rims !

ToCo I agree to a point - speedy bundled with many other similar brands are in that sub $2k budget and though some do look good they just don't do enough for some but if were talking a BBS Enkie ADV.1's etc then were talking aftermarket rims as good if not better than OE IMO but yes a good quality set up with good rubber canb start from $4k to $10k as you probably know.
Alternatively like TimTas here you can buy Direct from US quality rims for near on half the retail cost here.

Only problem with buying from the US is that you need to do all the research. Size's, widths and offsets as they will have no knowledge of our falcon specs. I was lucky in that a few have been before me with the enkeis on an AU. Im currently looking at 20" rims for the F6 and the offsets are a big problem. Trying to find that right size is proving to be difficult.

Having said that, there are also lots of wheel shops in Aus that have NFI when it comes to offsets and brembo clearance.

Those rims are brilliant, one of the best FPV rims ever.

Thats what it also came down to with me as well, was the quality. After I had taken the car to a few track days I noticed that the centre caps would actually melt so bad that they would just pop off, and the small plastic (metal lookalike) studs around the outside would just pop out aswell, terrible. So when that starts to happen the rest of the car looks tacky aswell. That's something that I think these GTP's don't do, and I can't see the metal centre caps popping out either haha.

    Thanks F6.
