I think 297 took the wind out of the momentum it would seem.

I heard a whisper that HSV will copycat and do something similar with the GTS...

HSV have already run the GTS without a limiter at Bathurst so I am told so it will not be a surprise to see them try again with a longer road.

In 12 months time its going to be an interesting place at HSV.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

With a car that comfortably has more than 500hp it maxes out at just under 300kph. Goes to show how great a deal air resistance is as speed rises. Just going over what was said before, the 662hp GT500 couldn't hit 320kph.

Yep, when you watch the vid you can literally "see" that aero barrier coming into play right at the top end of the GTF's run.

Will be interesting to see what the top speed of the HSV GTS will be in a similar test? Is the aero package of the HSV GTS better than the FPV GTF?

I am dissapointed Rob Herrod states that the car is bog stock. For starters its not bog stock, you can see it has a K & N air filter. As for the tail shaft thing that takes further credibility away from him and or the car, is the car stock or tuned? Who will ever know?
