Not much of an Update,
Been driving the car regulary for the last few months,
So much Win...
Took her for a 2200KM Round trip from Cooma, to Wangaratta then to Victoria and back to Sydney and she didn't miss a beat.
Transmission had a small flaring issue which was sorted by the boys at Preston's Automatics in VIC within 30min.. haha!
She got 12.8L/100 on the way down and 10.8L/100 on the way home once the transmission was fixed xD
While the 343 is doing its job, there is alot of weight to move! (Car and Driver LOL) .. So It looks like I may be replacing the block with something stronger
when the New Camshaft & Valve train kit arrives from FTI in the US. Since the new cam requires some heavy springs I have been looking at the Jesel Sportsman Shaft Rockers.. last thing I want is a Stud to snap in one
of my Many 'Spirited Drives' ..
Car has been a dream ever since I Removed the Quarterhorse Chip and resigned to flashing the EEC directly using some crafty ingenuity..
All Tuning to date has been done by Girch @ LSX Tuning and there are still more refinements available but once the Transmission Conversion takes place I may handle the reigns of Control over to a Haltech Elite PCM.
Just a Random shot!

Well,
If anyone is interested,
I am selling this Bottom end with a Stock Camshaft as I am moving onto something bigger and better! (Hopefully lol)
New Project so far..
Plan is a 363 Short Deck windsor,
4.125 Bore
3.4 Stroke
5.4 Rod
CUstom Solid Roller
AFR Heads
Nathan
New ECU!
Then Everything Else started!
Had Plenty of EEC's laying about so I Sacrificed one for the main 104 Pin Socket.
Then Started Soldering the Patch Harness together!
Used one of my Spare EEC Harnesses as well and used it for the Correct Colour Coding
Stage I Complete... Fitted to Car and Ran and drove it about for 2 days .. No Issues!
This is the Completed Haltech Patch Loom, Excluding all the Braided Wire Covering
LS Coil Looms Completed
All 3mm Wiiring
Now All I am waiting for is The Engine Builder to finish welding the mounts on my spare rocker covers so we can mount the coil brackets
Fuel Pressure will be raised to 58PSI to Help with Fuel Atomisation and make way in the future for the Nitrous 364 Motor
Will get this up and running and then I'll start on getting the new Transmission Stripped down and the Bell housing milled off
Rocker Covers have been Completed..
LS2 Coils mounted and Ready for Action

call me weird, but there's some thing sexy about a virgin block arriving in a crate for the first time.......lol
looks like cool fun building that up ..
Yeah the build will be fun,
I asked for a 500 Shot of Nitrous ontop of the 12:1 E85 Motor...
Builder is saying it should handle a 900 Shot!
Got more goodies arriving soon, which include Jesel roller rockers, custom Ed Curtis Camshaft and a few other things!
I Did the whole Haltech ECU Conversion so I can just get it tuned once and for all with no flashing required!
