Thread: 2015 Taurus

So, we can cross SHO/Taurus off the coming-to-Oz list. The SHO would be included in Ford Performance 12 vehicles.

    GT
    Shelby GT350/R
    Raptor
    Focus RS
    Taurus SHO

7 to go by 2020, and only one of the above coming to Oz. What will they be.

Bare in mind these are old conceptual drawings so there's a lot of conjecture. The real thing is as shown in the earlier pics posted.

Under the hood, the new Ford Taurus gets the new twin-turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, with an as-yet-unspecified power rating. The new Taurus will be built at the recently opened Changan Ford Hangzhou Plant in China, following a $760 million investment. Ford’s sixth plant in the country, the Hangzhou facility has a maximum annual capacity of 250,000 vehicles on a flexible production line.

will this be RHD also? wasn't the previous LHD only. some nice innovation in the back seat there, with the fold down center console for rear passengers. like most marketing pics, this would be a fairly high spec version i would imagine. love how they have incorporated the indicator in the front light also.

if this gets made in RHD, and parallel imports get allowed, its not beyond the realms of possibility to own one of these if you desire. i would much prefer this over Mondeo, as i'm not that keen on the hatch back look of the mondeo.

That is a very very nice looking car, not sure about the front on view, but I prefer that over Mondeo.

If its RHD then Lincoln is a possiblity also, but i doubt it will be this time around.
