A "Sprint" was a previous performance model from last century that was the top of the range.
Other previous model names that have been recycled.

    Pursuit
    Super Pursuit
    GS
    GT
    Cobra

Ones that have not been reused yet.
    Drifter
    Landau
    500
    GTHO
    Marquis

    And there are probably others.

Ok. I've bitten my tongue long enough. You guys are killing me.

A Drifter was a Chrysler Valiant Van/Ute. Really cool. I'd love one, but... image.jpg

    The Ford was a Sundowner.

the valiant panel vans were pretty ordinary
We had 4 or 5 of them at work
    (no Drifters)
they really were just a ute with a top welded on, and poorly welded too
    or were they glued on?

That is something I wanted to raise. It's a bloody quick car as it is and for the price you simply cannot get the same performance and luxury.

You also get a couple of things (nothing special) that aren't available in any of the other models. The biggest problem with the G6E is besides the looks it doesn't differentiate enough with the things you get. But if that were the case if wouldn't be cheaper then the XR6T.
Also I know people complain that it doesn't have an LSD but in all seriousness just go aftermarket for one....I mean the ones you get from factory aren't much chop anyway.

Well I went with the Drifter.

I already have a turbo ute and to be honest love it. I probably enjoy driving that more than anything else, so in the spirit of what you have put on offer Tony, a F6 ute would be the most logical for me and easiest trade to make.

310kws with Brembos would do me I feel but I would sack you from the naming dept. Drifter sucks.

What is your hypothetical model for volume of such offerings?
History is a statement, the future is a question.
