    wiper issue

Hey guys n girls, don't know if many of u have had this issue. I hopped into my car the other day turned on ignition to first click n my wipers came on, it was in the off position. It also seems to be on in intermittent stage, they continue to do this even after starting car. It's an ef xr8. I have a spare control for blinkers n wipers so I unplugged the current one n plugged in the spare but with the same result. I check everything I could think but I'm at a loss as to why this is happening. Any help or ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.

That sucks, my first thought was the combination switch but you have already thought of that one.

i can't help you, but years ago i had an ef xr6 wagon. i had it in getting the windows tinted and when i went to pick it up, the rear wiper had been removed. apparently while he was working on it, the wiper just started going by itself!! i rarely used the rear wiper, so i just unplugged it inside the tailgate and left it. never got it fixed, but sounds like a similar issue. hope you get it sorted.

Yeah, I'm a bit puzzled, I'll try the relay. Cheers. I expect a few issue with age of the car.
