    Some info for you all!

The 2.2 engine in the automatic was lets say, a tad sluggish off the line and got a bit of a rep about it. Ford have totally fixed this and the 2.2 auto is now just as good as the 3.2, absolute cracker! We have demo'ed one just to prove the point that you don't need to spend money on 6 cylinder rego (QLD) and spend the $2500 premium to get into a new Ranger. You still can tow the exact same weights too.

    Food for thought

    Stock shouldn't be a problem.

Rampant demand for the Australia-developed Ford Ranger across the Asia Pacific has seen the company commit $254 million to increase its Thai production capability.

Ford is adding production equipment and facilities to its Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM) plant to meet huge demand across our region, and to supplement the joint-venture plant with Mazda that currently makes the Ranger.

FTM was opened officially in May 2012 and builds passenger models such as the Fiesta and Focus for Australia, plus the EcoSport. The flexible plant can build up to six models simultaneously. Current installed capacity is 180,000 units per year. This will obviously grow.

Tim, surely a early review can be done by now on your Wildtrak early ownership

Whilst in Bris the last couple of days in a carpark I went into for a mo I spotted a new silver Wildtrak with 20" black wheels like I currently have on the Lux.
With the grey/blackened big front grill looked superb ! also had the Raptor FORD black grill on - these are a nice looking addition - would be a must have for me.

It's got about 3500ks on it now. Just been too busy with the silly season to sit down and think about it.

I haven't even put any pics up yet.

Just a heaps up, paint colour Aluminium has been discontinued in all double cab variants of Ranger. It has been quite a popular colour, so if you are in the market and like the colour jump on in soon. This is due to the factory switching now the same plant as Fiesta and Focus. Single and Super cab variants are still in the old plant for now.
