    FGX GTHO

    From phase autos bookface page

Been wanting to share this with you guys for a while. In 2013/14 we fought hard for a final GTHO with the help of Ford designer Steve Park. Its important for you to know there was enthusiasm with those we spoke to at Ford - but the closer it came to the release of the FG-X (and especially since) the more it became evident a final factory GTHO would never happen. But not through lack of trying... We'll share some more details with you over the next few weeks.

And big thanks to Steve Park & Blue Power Racing Developments for the support and for coming along for the ride.

Not a fan of the flared guards, but do like the front bumper design. Good on them for having a go.

Yeah I love the flares, just not the ones which show the bolts.

Yeah very slr'esque. Although most these days would probably associate them more with liberty walk lol.

I love the wheels too, I hope they put the kit into production, would look mint in real life I reckon.

Has a lot of Wayne Draper in it... probably not as contemporary in today's styling....

Had the pleasure of meeting Wayne at his factory in 2007, absolutely lovely bloke who had a huge influence on Ford Australia and Falcon.

I spent ages there listening to his stories, looking through old drawings and fiberglass tooling.

He gave me a hand sketch he'd done for the FG....

I still have it somewhere at home, i must find it. He was taken too early...

The problem with society today, is that nobody drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

Ugh, definite no for the bolt on flares and bonnet, this isn't 1982

That front bumper looks the goods though.
