QLD Paramedic injured by driver of a stolen vehicle.

Thought I would post this up as the vehicle and officer are from my station. This is the second ambulance from our station to be hit by a stolen car in 12 months.

Luckily the officer received only minor injuries, will not do good things for her confidence though. I hope they throw the book at the idiots in the stolen car.

Bloody rediculous, throw the book at them, i hope she is ok. It begs the question why on earth are stolen vehicles crashing into Ambulances though??!!

The answer for that Norm is in both instances the ambulance has been in the wrong place at the wrong time, while a low life car thief drives with a complete disregard for our road laws and public safety.

Which shows the lack of intelligence displayed by the thief, anyone else with half a brain would know to keep a low profile
and blend in with other drivers. Hope the member makes a speedy recovery without permanent disability.

Yeh people who steal cars off the street are always clever. Copper have a "special procedure" for dealing with idiots who do this sort of thing, lets hope the media and do gooders are away today.

Seem's like just another day of life in our society doesn't it, unfortunatly incident's like these are becoming the norm, innocent bystander's are being caught up in someones selfish act of stupidity.
I don't see it getting any better in the future as these people have no respect for anything or anyone and the judical system favour's the intellect.

Heard from the paramedic that was injured, small bumps and just a bit sorry for herself today. She was saved by her partner, she was standing at the door of the ambulance at the time. Her partner saw the car coming for the door and managed to grab her and pull her into the ambulance (quite a feat). Lucky as the car came through and took the door out.
