Sparkling Burgundy 1:18 Resin Model EL GT, was spotted at the Die Cast collectors show in NSW this week.
Just waiting for the announcement of the Navy Blue color being released.
Did anyone see the model of my car, complete with my rego plates & rego plate surrounds on Facebook?

Just got word the first shipment of cars (500) will leave China, mid December, given transit times plus distribution to local retailers over Christmas, will see the car in store early January.
Biante have not exactly been overwhelmed with orders, so at this stage Navy Blue colored car is a very long way off.
You never know, maybe once people see the detail in the resin model, they MAY place additional orders.

Well given there were only 272 EL GT's built, 500 sales is about right, previous owners, current owners, a few cars written off.
As for wrong color on the original prototype, you had better speak to the owner of the original cars, that spent at least 4 days of his time, fuel, detailing duties, about what color he preferred.
