He's harmless. I've met him. I've even bought a car off him. If you don't scratch the itch, it goes away by itself.
So does he look after his cars as well he says?

The car I bought off him was an ebv8 and it was very good condition.

Was told last weekend that apart from locked in allocation no extra Territories, or Falcons can be ordered. Nothing outside of production "norms". Is that right?

Doing our best to lock in some nice local stock before the plant closes. Some particular models/spec are very hard to get to build.

I guess we need to understand, there is a lot of behind the scenes (parts suppliers etc) that we don't know about. We put in a bunch of additional allocation (sort of like a temp order, that might get converted into a real car) but we didn't get any.

As I've stressed before, if you want one of the last, go see your local dealer. This isn't a sales pitch, just the truth!

Very true.. I have been agonising since march 2015 about a new XR8 Manual.. I got serious in December and bought a winter white manual built in November 2015. The dealer only had it for a day. There is nearly no negotiation in a manual.. they are that rare.
The way I see it, the XR8 Manual is a very rare serious muscle car and with the exception of the Sprint, Australia's last muscle car from Ford.

A great car to drive too..super tough.

    Regards

    Greg

Welcome mate. That's a few XR's in Goldy on this forum. Might have to cruise across from Toowoomba for a catch up.

    damn that is sad
having had a couple of the falcon utes, they were / are a great work bus
While others think differently than me, I couldn't see myself stepping up into like a ranger
These 4 x2 and 4 x4 utes that have taken the market by storm the last few years don't drive as well, (drive more like a light truck than a car, which the falcon ute does)
and are really quite expensive in comparison to what the humble falcon ute is

RIP Falcon ute, its all to late, but you will be missed
