Porsche already apply this with their brakes red for S/GT models, carbon ceramic in yellow. Boy do the yellow stand out and instantly announce the car and its associated performance credential. If true, gold is a great touch to distinguish sprints visually in a side profile

Yeah agree. Most brands seem to use the Red for entry level and Yellow/Gold for up spec brakes.
