Yes, my backside does concur with your hypothesis.

Yes, I have read some very good reports from ex fpv owners, one just as above re F6 and other having compared to his RSpec.
One guy having done quite a bit of track work compared his past to Sprint, 5sec quicker track times !
Saturnine, Do your self a favour and buy mud spats NOW. Fit them ASAP if the dealer hasn't already agreed to do it prior leaving the dealership. many reports (mine too) of stone chips as the PZeros are SO sticky and flinging up more stuff than usual for Falcons. I fitted mine and can see the benefit already. Oh, another tip, stick felt to the back side of your number plates and they wont scratch the paint with all the vibration - the type of felt that is the soft side of Velcro - like that; not material felt that will hold water for long periods. Just tiny strips here and there, not massive amounts.
If you're going to fit spats do so knowing that will cause as much damage to the paintwork as road debris where they rub on the body.
The protective film is a sound idea, even if you have to replace it annually.
I'm actually reading that people have changed the brand of tyres on their car to avoid damage.. Personally i can't see the logic in fitting low performance tyres to a high powered high performance car.
Ive used the clear adhesive on the T3 for years and years - without spats ofcourse.
Even inside the painted arches where the stones flick up from the get go, works great.
I will be putting the clear stuff prior to fitting the spats full stop on my S8, as well a section halfway down the sill, mine being black its a no brainer but tbh on other colours white for eg, I think it breaks up so much white white white but thats me.
No M. Spats are daggy just fit the 3M clear tape.
