I have 255rwkw in my TS50, that is about 340rwhp, so I would guess 390-400hp at the crank. No issues. Its a stock late model block with the Tickford 342ci stroker, AFR 165 heads, stock cam and intake. Just the normal, port match, exhaust and a tune.

If you are building for cruising I would be looking for torque, rather than horsepower.
Over 300 rwhp you would be looking for a good stroker kit. Lot's of gains to be made with a decent intake & exhaust sysyem as well.
Trust me, I learnt the hard way!!!!:argh:
