Bernie do you have an update on the sort of things Premcar are doing at the moment?
Sure. A lot of our work is confidential but I'll give you an overview.
Essentially we still have the same engineering team that delivered the engineering programs for FPV product for many years. We share our offices and workshop with FPR (now PRA!), although we are separate companies. We do a lot of work for Ford Australia still, in areas such as powertrain development, prototype vehicle build, engine calibration etc. We have other Australian-based customers as well, but I can't tell you who they are for confidentiality reasons. We have an office in Shanghai, and we do a lot of work for Chinese customers. You can get a better understanding by visiting our website www.premcar.com
Thanks for your interest!
Bernie can't answer that one, Premcar will only work on things that we engage them on, but of course there are ways to make any car better. What needs to be weighed up are things like cost, profit, resources, priorities and of course a desire to want to improve. As to whether anything will be done, that's definately not something we will be discussing on a forum
Bernie you would have seen the original post here. Will Premcar be moving into the aftermarket tuning/work/enhancements for FPV's and Fords?
Another weighty factor is how it behaves in its natural environment. The Falcons are tuned for the road, not for a magazine's hot lap. It's a shame and injustice that magazines rarely acknowledge this. They may as well write for Women's Weekly.
Dave, you did call it dribble.
What, so an XR8 owner can't visit Premcar for a turn key suspension package? Give me a break, the thread is (or was) about Premcar's packages and options for Falcon owners
From that point of view Dave you have a point.
My tip is their working on a aussie version Ford Performance Mustang :p
