    Project XR6T, the details.

This is Premcars first toe in the water aftermarket wise. It is pretty exciting for me because these are effectively the guys who have been part of the FPV and Tickford family, both brands i grew up with.

Key aspects of this initial project are as follows:

Create a low cost, high performance car based on the Ford XR6T platform

    Maximise “Bang for Buck”

“Turn-Key” package designed and developed by the engineers who developed:
    Original XR6T
    Original XR8
    FPV F6
    FPV GT
    The Miami Engine
    And of course…
    The GT-F Engine

Base Car: Re-Furbished Police Pack Falcon XR6T (Note: Vehicle is 2nd Hand)
    Content:
    Brembo Brakes
    Premcar/Shockworks Adjustable Suspension
    Low Back Pressure Exhaust
    Revised Engine Calibration
    Engine Oil Cooler
    Transmission Oil Cooler
    19” Forged FPR TSW Wheels
Super Sticky Tyres (275 rear, 245 front)
    Decal Package

    I'm confused.

Are they trying to be a quasi fpv, or what? Why would they use second hand vehicles?

Well given they cant own a FGX yet so I guess why spend new money on a soon to be obsolete R+D rig....

I hope they gain traction. Would like to see them implement the stuff they dreamed about.

I assume its the most cost effective way to get a car, design and impliment packages, to gauge reaction.

Logistically this would be the simplest way of testing reaction too

Welcome Mr Quinn. Through Ian many of us have come to appreciate the work your crew has done for the brand more than what we would have known, and we all wish the team at Premcar the very best going forward.
