Funny I see it the other way around. I think the Tickford looks better (stance, wheels, minor finishes etc) but there is NO way from a factory developed and engineering perspective I would overlook the RSPEC for it.

If it had to be an auto, that changes that line of thinking of course. The Tickford package as we saw it adds about $27k to the base Mustang GT price. If we call that $65k then its a slightly cheaper option than the RSPEC but you are on your own in terms of factory warranty and the like. You also have to accept that the boost and timing will be electronically pulled out of it if you want to take it racing.

We are yet to determine if that's the same case for the RSPEC, or if the smarts at Ford has managed to overcome this issue.

That's interesting because I am normally the same.

However what is specifically different.

So a key one is processes desigbed around limiting damage around installation.

Ok but do tickford cars suffer damage from what will be an inferior process?

Tickford must have touch the tune for motor to comment as they have done.

My understanding is you can't do that and have FP warrant the car.

Same applies to suspension and the way motor praised it's performance.

It's going to be very interesting. Unlike Maurice I don't care about the looks. I do care about which is actually better.

I'm hoping it gtrspec because that me but in all honesty motors review places the tickford product at the top of recent praise where supercharger have been used.

It's just the limp mode issue. We know way more about that now the we did.

No care about that anymore as compared to the times FoA Tickford/FPV.
This is a Ford Mustang GT with add ons, oh with the Broady approval and herrod lackys doing the job under strict super vision.
Oh that makes it so much better.
Wheres the performance arm DNA and brand ?, oh FP bolt on product, but its Ford approved.
Its like MB asking a Mercedes Attermarket Specialist to use their product of bolt ons and still endorse its a C63/E63 choice for now.
So whats wrong with the Tickford version in that case.
One has Ford/FP endorsed bolt on the other is doing similar without Ford endorsing as such per say.
I don't see the authenticity about this but that its tapping on what the market has been waiting on but its not how it should be its a teaser/pacifier.
I know you'll say otherwise, its like seeing those Bimmers that are not true M3/M5 etc for eg but have the M options when ordered, at least they are proper factory fitment during production but you get what I mean :)

Just wanting to ask, has anyone bought the MY18 onwards Tickford tune only for the GT? I have been scanning the internet for articles and test drives but can't seem to find anything. I'm interested in the tune, not the wheel pack etc.
