Who are we to say whats a GT and what isn't?

I simply refer to a good dictionary for definitions of things ... usually you'll find a GT defined something along the lines of, "a 2 door sports car that has been softened in it's suspension to provide more comfortable longer distance touring." Naturally there is a lot more can be said but that is the crux of it.

We all have our preferences, but if the factory calls it a GT then its a GT.

That is true ... which is why we see cars like a Subaru Forester running around wearing a GT badge ... FFS!
