Still dont think it will happen, i just don't think anyone knows what a GTHO should be now... It has no relevance in todays racing market.

As they've long suggested:, the weight of expectation those letters would bring would cloud the performance of anything we could produce with the current chassis....

GT-H on the other hand wouldn't have to live upto the expectations the HO name plate would demand.

Look its all hear say anyway - putting up GT 400 HO as I did is for fun, as you guys say so much has changed and the new breed just don't relate to what we are talking about and the goal posts have moved so much.
H - could come along one day but as its been done in the past for a limited version having "Bathurst" decal on the boot with Rspec will do the job nowadays as long as they wicked/tweaked up kwasps !

The GTHO was a car that made a statement that fitted a purpose of the day. Those that argue there can't be a HO because the rules don't require it are missing the primary purpose of reason to be.

An iconic brand, even one that's as misunderstood as the HO is still at its core the principle of selling a car, selling an image, selling a brand. Under the circumstances I have out lined the HO will be the last car to roll down the line at Broadmeadows. It will be the definitive statement by Ford Australia thus closing out history and mark a period of transition to a new frontier.
It will be the rightful exclamation make on 50 odd years of history. The brand that started a legend and genre will end it and personally under these circumstance I can't think of a better ways to send Falcon out. There is no argument then; is not questions on what it should be. There will never be another ,there will never be a replacement. There will never be a greater reason.
Before you get to that point basic decisions have to be made on what Falcon will become. This action will only be taken if the car that falcon becomes or replaces falcon is FWD. If its RWD this will not happen. You will not see a HO although given the management team ..................
History is a statement, the future is a question.

    Great insight, Ian.
“…The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man are disgraceful to ourselves only…How one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades….A silent great soul, one of that who cannot but be earnest. He was to kindle the world; the world’s Maker had ordered so." - Thomas Carlyle
