Il say it again, put your xr , park it beside a FPVGT, and if you cant see the differences inside and out , your blind !!
The basic mechanicals are similar, but the FPV just has more of every thing, iv driven and sat in both...!

The same with a T compared to the xr, its not in the same level of finish...T is a step up..

So what does a FG2 GT have more of than a FGx XR8, other than stripes.....

Ok guy’s, this is not specifically a for sale thread, more so a expression of interests.

My AUII XR8 will be offered for sale soon and I would dearly like to find a buyer that will care for this car as much as I have, a buyer that is a true car enthusiast.

I understand that once it has left my ownership it is not mine to think about but I would really like to find a buyer that I know will treat this car with the upmost respect, that is why I have not offered it for sale as such but more so to seek out a future owner that I will feel happy knowing that it is going to be looked after.

I am in no rush at this stage to sell, as I am still unsure at this moment but in saying that if I find the right buyer and we agree on the right figures then I will be happy.

If this post is not upon the realms of this site then I apologise and will respect the decision for it to be removed.

But if anyone knows of a person that will suffice then please contact me.

Getting back to the original question I think that you still have too much involved with the car. It's hard to control what someone does with it after you sell, despite best intentions. In the past I have only gotten rid of cars that I have had no choice due to finances or that I no longer have a tie to. It's hard to have your cake and eat it too. What would you do if you saw that the car wasn't looked after? Buy it back? If you are in no rush then my advice would be to keep the XR8. It's a great car. You'll know when the time is right to part ways. Then there will be no regrets.

Galaxy, all you can do is advertise it and see what happens. Chances are the person willing to drop 10k on a 15 year old falcon isn't the sort of person who's going to ruin it.

You know Galaxy, I look at my T3 just the same, the love, more k's than yours, 139k, just over 10k p/a. Pretty damn good nick, loved to death, over serviced to death and I'm having to shift it for Sprint or an FPV OR stuff em both go ol school. Fact is I have to move her on, my time is up, I need something different, I'm hating to let her go purely by the WHY she looks so fine and been with me near on or 10yrs but my issue at hand will be at how much ????? how keen am I to move it one ?, will the next owner love it as much ? I hope so but wtf thats his/her decision and if they fook her up they are dumb their loss.

Pretty damn good nick, loved to death, over serviced to death and I'm having to shift it for Sprint or an FPV OR stuff em both go ol school. How did I go ? put it this way I recall not too long ago talking to Ian I made my mind up, T3 is F/S.
Its not advertised as yet but I have been putting the word out to those I know who just maybe interested but aloso may advise someone they know who's looking they know where a pretty good one is.
My long time mechanic who near on knows her nearly as good as myself is interested, just not right timing at present, has a number of cars that he's decided to reduce a few to make room and has his daughters wedding coming up in 2wks, if its still around when he's ready he'll take it.
In the meantime I'm planning on attending for a couple days I expect my last Nats as a TSeries owner next week for you may have noticed by some posts I'm locked in for a Sprint 8 manual

On another note, if anyone know’s of someone wanting a AUII XR8 and help me get into that Territory, I have contacted my dealer Yesterday to find out some details, the only disappointment is that he tell’s me Ford have since had a price increase from Jan 1st.
