Would it be maintenance Trev? or poor load position? or exceeding trailer load limitations?

Could be one or all Norm, it is difficult to say, but trailers don't generally 'just break in half', maybe some cracks were in the chassis, then add the heavy load, possibly in the wrong position and whoops, it all turns to shit

Looking at the pic again and without knowing the weight of the item, it doesn't look to be positioned too badly

The load was 18.1 tonne Verified by the crane mob who lifted it off. The load is well balanced for correct axle weights, but it's a 'point load' in that its all in one spot, not spread over 45 feet.

The are some whoops in the road that may have set a Harmonic, but my guess is there may have been some cracking. It will be easy to tell.

Thommo is pretty good with his gear, (and not short of cash) so it wont be some long term abuse thing. But they may have damaged it with another load, and it let go with this. I wouldn't have liked to have been on the receiving end of the call to the trailer mob.

My holy shit comment was of the dash cam one but since I just read the HHA link - WTF ! what a bloody sick couple these 2 are, yep Daz how do these people sleep.
