Yes there are methods of getting around high compression. You also need to remember that any of these supercharged and turbo charged options don't rely on high boost to make good power. What I like about MY18 is it sounds like an fantastic naturally aspirated, higher revving engine. That really appeals to me even without the blower, and especially without it. If I was to look at any power adder it would be a set of small turbos to give the bottom end and mid range more torque, which also maintaining reasonable fuel economy. I wouldn't do that aftermarket however unless Ford offered a kit.
