This is not true. No cars will be stored at Broadmeadows.

I have a feeling stock will thin out around March 2018 for MY17, that's my prediction.

Flat Rock switches to '18 YM mid October,
I doubt that we'll see any '17s coming our way after December.

Whilst Sprint was having its service I thought to have a stab IF a Pony was available for a test drive.
Low and behold no worries a 17 silver auto was at hand.
Passed on my license details and away I went for a quick early morn back street 20odd min fang.
Silver does look nice and clean, it suits it.
It sounded nice at start up - and seating in it was comfortable and the ambience felt good.
Only minor is that other side hand brake.
Getting in and out was fine.
I was impressed by the 5.0l - its no miami manual feeling to me but it was pretty good.
I flicked around some roundabouts and slide the rears felt really good.
Its rear damper/spring rates have to be firmer than the Sprint, I could really feel the difference over speed humps and its re activeness to my driving.
Hammered it as hard and as safely as I could being being 50k zones but residents would have heard me thats for sure.
Steering felt good, responsive but Sprint feels more direct/sensitive but its not really to compare.
I know from Ians Andrews MY18 review the pony has really stepped up so I can imagine how that would feel now.
The exhaust note on 17 was very nice so 18 must be pretty loud from reports.
I actually wouldn't need it louder but celavie.
Nice and roomy at the front, absolutely useless having to take 2 passengers in the rear, sure they can sit in there with the front seats alot more forward but my driving position will be crap in doing so so its a 2seater full stop.
Overall I was impressed and glad we have a rhd Pony whilst our olden foes have nothing but converted over priced camaros.
I could own one no worries in the future if I desire doing so and obviously I'd be doing Black .

The 2017's are good Maurie, but if you can grab a 2018 with the 10-speed auto. The step up is very noticeable in all areas, including grip, ride, SOUND, and performance. The interior is abit nicer to and the digital dash is very cool.

Colville, I'm sure 18 is way better in drive/feel/sound absolutely and bonus the interior changes.
I'll drive the auto for sure one day But just as Sprint I'm in the minority having manual and thats my no1 preferred drive no matter that the 10speed is faster down the qrtr or off the line and this and that.
It means nothing to me, I'm not racing for a living but I'm into engagement and driving the 17 today, a nice sleek silver 2door with a nice note confirmed to me Manual kills auto for that "feel" I'm driving my machine mental orgasm. I love pushing clutch in and shifting, makes me feel alive/controlling at the same time.
I put that 17 into S mode, paddles feel great but meh, its not much better than ESS just more modern but has the same mentality. Box chasing itself, then deciding this or that.

I know I'll be told - mate 18 does it all so well now with the 10speed, farts when down shifting etc for I know what Ian/Andrew have quoted but I don't care, you know that song lol, sing it, I don't care, manual it is baby the real ol school
Bullitt would be my go to now if I really wanted it now but I just don't have that "have to have" in my head at present but before manuals disappear I'll have one I expect.

Fair enough mate. The manual version of 2017 I drove last year was good too. Apparently, the manual is even better in 2018 although I didnt bother to try it.
All I will say is the 10 speed is actually fun and quite engaging. It works a bit like having a hi-stall converter where it preloads the engine revs to launch you in pretty much any gear. The paddles are heaps of fun, but most importantly, the sound that the car makes as it changes up and down is glorious.

For me it’s a question of complimenting experiences.

I have enough manual falcons, I am asking myself do I also need a manual mustang?

If I didn’t already have a manual, sure easy choice.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

    Absolutely in bold !
Mate, it won't be a daily, manual is the real mccoy no matter what anyone says, driving at your own peddle pressing and shifts is being the conductor of the sounds, sheer engaging driving pleasure.
The complementing experience is there from 4doors to 2doors, different handling manners/power deliveries and in cabin viewing, slap yourself and say yes your right lol......
