Wow, so surprised and not tbh.
I wonder what is the point keeping cars not using them much.
Kudos to you Colville, it sure was a journey having followed it like most of us.
So what has the interest been ?
Are you serious about this ?

Yeah I am Maurie. I've fielded some initial enquires already, however, I appreciate the asking price may stop a few.
There is no shortage of people wanting a car like this, but ultimately its a numbers game. Fortunately for me there is no pressure to sell. Doing so would put funds back into the toy kitty to be used on other things. I am very grateful for that.

Looking forward, I will either use the funds to support another classic car or get a new (modern) one like a 2019 Mustang etc. I want a car that I can use every day if I want to. While I can technically do that with the GT I'm just not comfortable in doing so for a variety of reasons, most of them of my own creation.

The new Mustang will come regardless of what happens to the GT. If I do get one while the GT and XR is are still in my care I will most likely go in the direction so getting another, but a different type of Falcon.

OK thanks Col for the reply.
No doubt people would be interested, its a very well done aftermarket package.
As quoted re Miami, IF BSeries came out with them not as many would have been modded as much imo.

Always in a good position when not having to sell until the right buyer who recognise's and sees whats been spent makes a fair offer - then its mind over emotion to accept.
I hope the day it does go is to a person who treats it just as good.
I was keen once thinking sooner or later the time would come - can't recall is it manual ? but time has passed and having 2 V8 dust collectors I can't see the point having another.
So the XR is going as well I guess ?
No brainer going a new Pony for your daily needs I look forward to what you end up with.

Yeap, the GT is a 6-speed manual. My only manual which is the shame of letting it go as any new Mustang would be the 10 speed auto. The turbo will go also, again to make room for other things. That has also been a great car and is in exceptional condition.

Well I expect a good call Colville, I would have thought the 6T was a given to move on but again another rare thing in this day and age.

It's been a very good car for us. I can hardly believe I have had it for almost 10 years! It's in near perfect condition so should make the next owner extremely happy.
