Well, if HSV (or whatever they call themselves now) can make it happen with the ZL1, Ford can make it happen for the Mach 1 IMO. I don't see 700 ZL1's being sold anytime soon.

Yes, when it's a $3500 option in the states (or $5k locally plus tax) by the looks of things. $6k I'd pay happily.

And add on the ADR compliance costs, inventory costs, LCST etc.

If that was a million dollars for AU.

So you're saying that Ford, who could do all the testing and so on while in development couldn't add some cheap wider guards cause its addition would add millions in development?

Truth be told, I'd probably pay the extra $10k anyway if it was an option. Heck, I paid $3k for stupid pbr caliper upgrades on my BA XR8 in 2003. This is much more value for money.
