My decision just got easier. Don't know what I was thinking.
Unless there is a dramatic drop I don't see any resizing for the minute. At the moment there is a down day the day after Anzac day and then one in early may. The rest of the year is a fairly clear one....so far. As much as the media gripe about sales at Ford they are moving stock and the only build up is with lpi as it needed work due to a quality issue.

I helped a friend 3 weeks ago buy a brand new XR6T sedan, he was leaning towards an SS but I insisted on him at least taking the XR6T for a test drive and that was all it took for him to signing the dotted line. Having said that he heard of FoF yesterday, now imagine his reaction knowing he could've saved 7-8k if he bought today..

    Haha... onya.

I am in the same boat as you, I have been eagerly awaiting some new's on the upcoming Territory that is due around the same time as FU, but as the wait is getting longer and longer it is really becoming a bit of a stretch.

I have the money to go right now and almost did a few times (on another brand/make though as I am considering another manufacturer) , my head say's wait but my heart says buy now, I just wish we could get some new's/snippet's about the updates soon, as the 3'rd qtr of '14 is still a while aways yet for me.

Yes, but with us we can't wait for the updated Terri, we need to upgrade our family wagon now and will be doing so (hopefully) in the next week. And let's face it the Territory in its current form is a brilliant package and stacks up well against competitors. For the money, only the new Santa Fe comes close and even then it (the Hyundai) falls down on cargo space, towing capacity and road manners. The Hundai is still a good package in it's own right though. The Jeep Grand Cherokee...over priced, over rated and too big and boofy. We don't care about wank gadgets and stupid trinkets that some people place so much importance and value on.

We will re-evaluate once the updated Terri comes out and see whether or not it is worth upgrading. But for now, we have our eyes on an August '12 plated Territory Titanium AWD.

I'm wanting to upgrade my own car some time in the next 12 months, but I'm not sure whether I want to buy a nice '10 or '11 plated FG XR6 Turbo or wait and see what the FU looks like. Like you, my head says wait but my heart says get moving. But curiosity about the '14 Falcon is getting the better of that choice at the moment...

Terry Titanium is a great car. We did a back to back at work vs. an ML250 with AMG pack. 21" wheels big brakes and all.

Seriously, the Terry stacks up brilliantly. Quicker, quieter, steers better, feels (is) lighter, the ML counters with better tech stuff, although they both use the same TMC stuff in the nav, the Ford is great the ML a little better, the Benz also has a more solid feel to it. Ford need to work on that 'feel' stuff. Particularly the upper tailgate which feels and sounds light a tinny. I know it works, it seals properly, we took ours through the outback and no dust got in. It just doesn't seem like it would and to the average wackier in a showroom, mmmmm.

All this and the Territory is half the price. I'm a HUGE fan of the terry. Go buy and enjoy it.

@galaxy. Just buy a base Terry ex demo or on the FoF program and tip it out when the rush for FU subsides.
The problem with society today, is that nobody drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.
