So who is going to buy a 2014 Falcon?

yeah its just in Fords world it just aint that simple. The F6 has been run into the ground, not giving current owners a reason to upgrade.

Not convinced there was a plan for continuing f6 or not and if not can that change now

The BA-FG F6 has had one power increase in its lifetime... The BA-FG GT has now had 4 across 2 different engines. The GT needed the attention as it was not seen as "cool" to have ya little 6 cylinder model being quicker than the "pinnacle" model of the range.

Im sure FPV/Ford know that they can easily increase the F6 output if they want/need to (I have a old ex workmate who works in Ford Powertrain development who told me they had done testing of the FG F6 up to around an easy 330kw's back during durability testing in 2006-2007 but it was decided to cap it at 310 to keep it under the GT's badged power output)

Doesn't worry me as Ford Aus wont be getting a cent of my money for a 2014-2016 model without a F6 in its line-up As far as im concerned they can name the 2014/16 car the FO model... Im sure you can guess what I mean by FO

I'll just keep the FG F6 that I currently have and enjoy it for what it is.... An aussie built Falcon with one of the best all Australian built engines

If thats the case, i'll have to hurry up and get the FG2 F6. I dont want to settle for an XR6T if I dont have to. Dont get me wrong, nothing wrong with the XR6T.
But if i'm spending the money, I want to go out with a bang.
An FU GT would be just out of reach for me.

Well if they do a rebadge on the gs to xr8 f6 motor into turbo would be plausible. Also seeing as ford are working with brembo for a brake package for the cop cars then that would be a mighty fine turbo.

I'm in limbo due to the annoucement.
I have considered a GT or P for quite a while but have always hoped the next update will be the "one" that got me over the line, now I'm at crossroads, will fpv be given the funds to bring out anything at all ?! F6 is certainly a consideration, I rate them highly.
So wait for this coming upgrade and grab what tickles my fancy and that this new shape is meant to look great OR grab something shortly, GT/P GTE or F6 but I'm lost atm.
