    1 week on....

Well we've been live just about 1 week, 90+ quality threads...., 819+ excellent contributions and 54+ members who i not only value and respect but to a person we think are the very essence and spirit of the type of members we want.
To say im thrilled with the response with not only the quality of people who have signed on for this journey but very lucky to have 4 other fantastic peers behind the efforts to make this happen is an understatement!
We've made no secret of our intent with Falcon Forums, a Ford based Forum with a difference, one we hope will enrichen the quality of what we do, how we portray ourselves and ultimately help the Brand and Ford Products survive and thrive!

I take my hat off to you all! Thankyou!

All good Norm - its great being part of something new, everyone on the hype and enthusiastic what its all about.
As mentioned on the other thread comes down to how the "growth" keeps being handled, I'm sure you know as many here no different to business whilst small everyone is hands on and very personnal but growth brings issues I hope it can stay as is for a long time

i actually find this is my first port of call these days. very refreshing. browsing certain threads on other forums starts to do your head in after a while. the lengths some people go to to bag the falcon product and the most obscure things they find to pick on.... its just nice to be able to chat about falcon without all the doom and gloom and negativity. most of us (possibly all) on here believe there's a fair bit of life in the ol' girl yet.

this isn't an 'us v them' whinge though. just an early observation and hopefully we can maintain the atmosphere over here.

thanks for taking the plunge and starting up this forum and for inviting me to be a part. appreciate it.

Rob its very heartening to hear someone like you say those words. If I may can I draw your attention to a thread in the tech section and get some input on what you think we need to do please?

no worries at all. i still browse all the forums, as i'm sure most do, but right at this point in time, there is a rather dominating theme on AFF which is largely based on media hype.

Thanks Rob! One of the motivations behind this forum was the amount of frustration felt about how the Falcon and Brand is portrayed elsewhere, undeserving too.

We are all passionate Falcon/Ford enthusiasts but i have enough stress in my day to day life without the down time i used to spend for light entertainment progressively and increasingly filled with negativity, doom and gloom about something i used to enjoy and want to keep enjoying. FORD and the FALCON!!

Hey, we have at least 3-4 years left at the very worst to ensure its survival, that's a life time to turn the fortunes around and its in our hands.

If you know other like minded people who want to share their time enjoying positive discussions about Ford and Falcon spread the word about here, we need more positive people around us!

Hello fellow enthusiasts Thankyou for the invite. Really appreciated. In fact quite honoured to have been asked. I registered last night and this is my first post.

Nice to see some very familiar names and contributions from those same people that I have missed! Top work on the site. Just remember we don't have to grow to be the biggest, the best is enough!

The Falcon and Ford brand have a long and proud history in Australia. If I can be an ambassador for these terrific vehicles then I do where I can. I get no personal gain apart from satisfaction. Over the last few years I've been able to convert that passion into a few family and friends buying some new and used Falcon sales.

I look forward to being here on a regular basis and contributing positively where I can
