The Falcon and Ford brand have a long and proud history in Australia. If I can be an ambassador for these terrific vehicles then I do where I can. I get no personal gain apart from satisfaction. Over the last few years I've been able to convert that passion into a few family and friends buying some new and used Falcon sales.

I look forward to being here on a regular basis and contributing positively where I can

Well judging by some of the absolute crap i keep reading about Falcon in various "media" lately i think this place might become far more popular soon for those who havent written Ford or the Falcon off yet..... or dont think the sky's falling..!

Pretty hard to call yourself a Ford fan when you continually shit can the most iconic Australian blue oval model ever. We better keep the door ajar... :-)

I so agree Norm, here I am driving a 3 yo FG F6, and got to say it is still a joy to drive. My wife has a little Merc, bought that and the F6 the same day, and I got to say, while the Merc does some things better, there are a few things the Falcon does as well, if not better.
Maybe I just have to buy a FGII F6, I guess I best look at one

I am not so sure about that closing the door thing Phill. Obviously i was joking but i have been made aware of a thread on another forum that to be blunt is a disgrace.

not 'a thread' as in singular, but 'threads' - plural!! maybe you were lucky enough only to see one.

Its become endemic and "cultural"... to the point of been viral.. If you read bad or negative news often enough you start to believe it... Like a Self fulfilling prophesy..

Sad really when the people most critical and negative towards the product are either too young to buy one or cant afford one anyway.... Makes you wonder what their agenda is.

You have to wonder how much impact this "black" noise has on people researching the product as potential consumers.

I was already backing off visiting a certain forum we know the last 6mths based on the BS and type of newbies who have come in the threads/posts as we all have seen has become ridiculous/pathetic, but this is the wonderful world of the net Not, as we know none of these posters would have the guts to say what they post face to face.
I frequent a football site and some of the posts are just as ridiculous, it makes you wonder why bother talking sense.
Since joining this good site I have posted more here than I can remember.
