Ok I just spoke with the WA GT Club President, the TE is for sale, as well as an EB GT, the owner of the cars is not a WA GT Club member, so I do not know him.
However he wants BIG dollars for both cars.

I should get off my bum, & find out what's going on over here!!!
Also a TE is for sale in WA, still trying to find out what series, what color, what options.

Yes WA has had a resurgence of late with Tickfords which is great to see and my some are really nice machines, Daniels silver T1 set the standard but talking about too much $$$$ LOL but good luck to him. Been great to see a silver T3 brought back to life not long ago and a very nice mild motor refresh to boot.

That TE FS over there, the Venom one with silver race strips ? if so we know this car very well, our good ol mate STROPP selling his pride and joy, bought from a fellow owner here north of Syd met many times Foxy. Good strong machine if thats the one your talking about.

Hello everyone, most of you should know my GT from the "Other Forum" but for those that dont here's a run down.

I bought it off the original owner in 2000, it was stock standard factory auto with just over 30,000Ks on the clock.

Some time later (cant remember when) it got Ford Racing Alloy heads and a decent exhaust system,

And a bit of a tidy up of the engine bay with the removal of the engine cover and new Tickford T/Body.

King Springs and Koni’s all round, all rubber bushes replaced with Nolathane, Whiteline Sway bars and a AllFast Stall Convertor replaced the stock unit.

Genuine EL GT brakes and a KAAZ LSD were added, I tried out 3.9s then 3.7s and didn't think much of either and went back to the original 3.45 diff ratio which it still has today.

It was around 2006 that I started putting together a 351 Windsor to replace the 302, the aim was and still is to be different, I was only aware of one other E-Series owner doing the same conversion as me at the time when most were stroking out to 347ci, by 2008 it was up and running including a full custom built exhaust because as most know there are no off the shelf extractors to fit a 51 in an EB!

The 351s higher deck height is easy to see...

Custom Extractors and full Stainless 2.5inch Exhaust,

This is how it stayed for a couple of years, unless you know what to look for its not easy to see its a 51

As always I wanted more, so out she came for a new set of heads and cam,

Once finished it looked like this,

Then came the new Manifold to replace the GT40,

Followed by a new 82mm T/Body to replace the 70mm,

Was happy for now with the engine but it was time for the Auto to go...

    EB XR8 T5 in...

Its nearly over, ok, was real happy with how the 51 felt with the manual but yep I’ll say it again I wanted more, so I ordered a 418 short motor from Fordstrokers in the US and had the team at Streetbuilt racing put it together for me, oh yea I sold the 51 short and T5, the T5 was replaced with the strongest road going manual gearbox there is atm (that I know of) a new T56 Magnum custom built to fit my GT so now cutting of the trans tunnel was required.

New extractor to clear drivers side started motor, new twin 3inch stainless mid section,

Engine bay as it is today...

What I love the most about all I've done to this car is it still looks Factory and everything still works as it should, cruise control, heaters/aircon the lot,

Except for when you look close there’s a little surprise hiding behind the power window switches...

    And in the boot,

We'll be giving it a 150 shot, we're having a couple of setup issues which we hope to have sorted in the next week or so, Chad the master tuner will be tuning it first week in November!

Very nicely done, tough as hell but a reasonably stock look without all the bling.

Truly impressed. That is a bloody well put together package. I like the fact that on the outside it still looks factory. Nice work!

Great to see you here James. This is definitely my favourite EB GT. I would love one of these in the garage one day!
