Like - but hate to be crictical.
I near on agree with Ian on the front - shrink the grill more so as there's more bumper, too much detail around the driving lights reduce this as well as do away with the chrome highlight.
The other thought is why have long oblong shaped headlight then round driving lights, why not have similar but not identical to the Evos.
Then the rear qrtr is still similar to FG, quite flat and straight needs more hump and curve....well this is my design thoughts.
I still like it and can see some staggered fit rims should look great.
Ecosport looks the goods for the modern day Mum who wishs to be a trend setter looking as if from a sci fi pic Droid machine, don't get me wrong its the future look and will be a hit and miss for many manufacturers imo but some weird designs out there nowadays.

I see where you and Ian are coming from; my only guess [hope] is that it's on road appearance will translate to something else. It's an important vehicle for Ford so I hope it doesn't turn out to be love/hate design.

This is another angle of the front, plus a rear shot.

They showed this car on top gear and asked the audience what brand they thought it was.

Funny I see Kia - and even Jag front end similarity.....
I like the bottom detail of the rear bar.

    What they say, Ian?

thanks for posting that it does look a bit better than i thought from that angle, looks good in white. it does resemble a bit of aston, but from the frontal shot my eyes don't agree with the crease that runs in a downward direction from front to back... the back end although it looks okay seems only a slight evolution where i was expecting a little more difference like the front.

True. I can't wait to see it in the flesh.
