I used Mainlube in the GT and it appeared to do the trick.

I just threw in Penrite 70-75 in the gearbox over the weekend and so far its a big improvement of the dextron. But the mainlube stuff (about $400 for the pack) is meant to last longer and better protection....according to the salesman...but he seems to have the evidence to back himself up.
Besides the shunt, the diff is actually quite strong and always turns both wheels on demand. I'm just over the sloppiness. If a shot of Mainlube can shut it up, it will put the Wavetrac on the backburner; $140 in diff oil versus $1900 for a Wavetrac centre is a no brainer.

The consensus is very much in the positive like your experience WASP.

Just ordered 5L for the 'box and 2L for the diff. Not the cheapest option around, but should be worth it.

Doubt it will stop the shunt. But let us know if it does.

Its very good gear and ideally improves things like diff/gear box shatter and smoothness of gear selection. Diff shunt may improve as a consequence but depending on how bad it is may still be noticeable. Believe it or not looking at a clutch upgrade can help mediate the issue also. The factory clutch can makes smooth transition on and off the pedal difficult to execute at times. A more performance oriented clutch can help give you more control from a driver input stand point to work around the typical shunt issues associated with these cars.

It apparently also gets rid of the 'gear roll over'.

The clutch upgrade whilst desireable, won't happen until the OEM clutch is near on dead. Which based on its current performance, won't be for a while yet.

Drivers seat has been rebuilt with super high density foam. Not only that, "wings" were welded into the lower seat frame to keep the foams in place and to provide that extra bit of lateral support.

The difference is remarkable. The way it keeps me in the seat is nothing short of astonishing, even moreso compared to the OEM foam.

I've put the Mainlube oil into the diff and gearbox.

The gearbox is now fantastic. Rollover noise is gone when in motion, I can induce a very tiny amount of noise when stationary (in neutral with light stabs of the throttle). Gear shifts are better, more solid and satisfying.

The diff backlash has improved markedly, however some shunting still remains.

And its gone. I ploughed into the rear end of a Camry after its driver jumped on the anchors when he saw an ambulance come in from the left, running a red with lights on but no sirens.
