Let me see, Phase 3 was designed to win Bathurst, bigger engine, very little pollution requirements, MPG? who cares!!! Noise Pollution? who cares!!!
EB GT, first of the EFI GT's, subject to pollution laws, not designed to win Bathurst, getting tighter with pollution laws, MPG is a big issue, noise laws now in legislation.
Sadly the GT 40 headed Windsor was no match for the "Cleveland from hell "
That said, both these GT's would be welcome in most of our garages.

Fair points, except the Phase 3 wasn't quite the Cleveland from hell; it was just starting to clear its throat. Sadly we never really saw what the factory could have really done with this engine before it's untimely end.
