GUess Ford are gonna be annoyed about the other 400 odd planned this year.

No they have a plan B.
They are fitting turbo 6s with a big plastic fake plenum and have a digital whine maker (as opposed to the analogue one found between the steering wheel and the seat in many V8s).
The only problem will be that drivers may notice the extra performance so they have a "V8 emulator upgrade" in the ecu that disconnects one of the spark plugs during acceleration.
