"Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Abraham Lincoln"
Funny bastard. Just checking my insurance papers now.Elks, how quickly can I get the paperwork sorted for refinance?
Being that I live under a rock I have not seen the pictures but have read the article today on Facebook. The specs for both cars are impressive. If you like I6T's then you are on a winner, especially if you had put a deposit down. The XR8 Sprint for an extra dollars is also a nice investment. The reality is that if you don't have a deposit down by this week the be prepared to be disappointed. There is enough info available that fence sitting is not an option. You are either in or out now.

I signed the contract to buy the Sprint on 3rd of August 2015, when internally the dealers were calling it the "XR6T-RS". Since I probably placed the first order for a Sprint in Australia, it is disappointing that I still haven't seen it and Ford hasn't bothered to send me a photo through the dealer. I have received all the specs, options available and all other details. But I am concerned about the looks a bit, especially with the gold callipers. I just hope I won't disappointed.
Also of note, I placed the order for the 6cyl as at the time there was no mention of a 8cyl. When I asked the dealer today if I can possibly change to the 8, he told me that he has to confirm with Ford as the allocation is basically sold out, already.

Two reasons:
1 - they gave me the specs of the final product down to the options available and their prices, but no photo/composite of the car, just to trust their word that it looks "good" and to give them the money anyway
2 - they released the photos to other people, some that have no intention on buying one
And I didn't say ahead of everyone else. I just believe that the people that have placed deposits should get a peek at the car, especially when others that will not buy one, have already seen it.
Several of my other cars that I bought before production began had private showings with all the customers that have placed deposits, some of them months before the media was allowed to look at the cars. We all had to sign confidentiality agreements and we all appeared to had honoured them as nothing was ever leaked before the official releases.
Ford haven't released anything yet, the only thing that has occurred is a leak of the information...
What are these other vehicles that you had private showings for?
Sorry mate I call BS ... WHO gave you the final product specs? You say you paid your deposit back in August. I know for a fact the engine itself was only just "signed off" back then, and there were no other confirmed specs of the car at that stage. And they gave you a price? Funny that I couldn't get a price ... and "officially" I still haven't.
Australian Muscle Car ... "It is a sensational high performance vehicle; a beautifully engineered and immensely capable four door Grand Tourer or 'GT' in the truest sense of that tradition."
No prize for guessing what car they were referring to ... OWN THE ROAD ...
