The funny part was that S197 was originally designed with IRS, then the program manager Phil Martens
decided to switch to SRA to save money, forcing a whole tear up of the rear end, the head engineer was
so disgusted he went over Marten's head but to no avail, resulting in his departure from the project.
How strange it is that Ford again redesigns mustang for IRS and supposedly a new front suspension.
I would still think that even though everything is changed on the new Mustang, this is far from being
a greenfield project.
The camo'd prototype shown recently has a suspiciously familiar sillouette profile about it....
Lets hope there is a significant depature from the retro styling of recent Mustangs.
